SUMMER UNIFORM ATTIRE

·         Marching Band T-Shirt

·         Tennis Shoes or Marching Shoes (Guard wears their Jazz Shoes)

·         Black Socks

·         Khaki Shorts – MAKE SURE THEY MEET THE SCHOOL DRESS CODE

 

INSTRUMENTS

·         All percussion equipment will be taken to the stadium at 6:00pm

·         Make sure you have:

o   Flip folder

o   Lyre

o   Instrument needs (reeds, valve oil, slide grease, etc.)

o   Your music

REMEMBER

·         We are the 12th man! You have got to stay engaged in the game. You may visit friends and other guests during your break time.

·         Break ends 3:00 left on the game clock. If you’re late, you have clean up duty in the stands.

·         Throw away your trash!

·         You represent the SWO Bands. Your actions, words, deeds, and character must be appropriate at all times.

·         WE LEAVE AT 7:30 IN THE MORNING FOR THE WATERMELON FESTIVAL!!!!!

REMEMBER

·         Make sure you have money for lunch! There will be lots of tasty items but they can be a little pricy.

·         There are carnival rides (it costs for tickets, so be aware of how much you spend).

·         Hydration is key! It might be warmer than you think, we strongly suggest drinking water after performing.

·         Throw away your trash!

·         You represent the SWO Bands. Your actions, words, deeds, and character must be appropriate at all times.
